TRADE SKILLS CENTRE
The Unity College Trade Skills Centre (TSC) is the home of Vocational Education (VET) and STEM at Unity College.
A range of courses are offered on-site at Unity College and are available to enrolled Unity College students and external students. Unity College Senior School students are also able to access a wide range of externally offered VET courses and are supported by College staff through their VET journey.
TRADE SKILLS CENTRE COURSES
The Trade Skills Centre accommodates welding and fabrication, sheet metal work, metal machining, Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and lecture facilities in a modern and purpose built workshop. Students have access to state of the art technology including metal lathes, welding bays, a plasma cutter and 3D printers. The TSC also houses a fully converted Individual Support training room.
In 2027, the TSC will offer Certificate II Engineering and Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing and Disability). Note the courses listed will only run on-site at Unity College when numbers meet minimum requirements.
