Unity College Early Learning Centre welcomes children aged 2 to 5 years and aims to provide all children with the best possible start to their educational journey. The ELC facilitates individualised learning and prioritises the establishment of positive relationships, recognising that this enhances children’s confidence to inquire, explore and take charge of their learning.
At Unity College ELC, your child will be actively cared for and supported by qualified educators, who will extend learning by encouraging them to explore, wonder, predict, test, problem solve, negotiate and research through play, ensuring a smooth transition to Reception.
- The Unity College ELC is registered as a Long Day Care Centre, open Monday to Friday, 49 weeks of the year. Eligible families can access the Child Care Subsidy.
- The Pre-School Education Program (Kindergarten) operates 8am – 3.30pm.
- The Long Day Care Program is from 7.00am – 6.00pm
(ALL families have access to these times).

*All ELC children are required to attend a minimum two days per week.
*We welcome all families to the ELC. While a significant number of children progress from the ELC to formal schooling at Unity College, there is no obligation or expectation for families to enrol in the College beyond the ELC program. To support each child’s learning pathway and to ensure accurate record-keeping, parents are asked to advise the ELC if your child is currently enrolled in, or intends to enrol in, another DECD-funded preschool program or a private or public primary school.
